Dear Sir or Madam , |
|
It’s part of our daily experience in discussions with our customers, partners and suppliers: The energy transition continues to concern the industry globally like no other topic. People are thinking in new ways, engaging in long-term planning and making a large number of investments. District heating plays a key role here as an energy system that is environmentally friendly, efficient and extremely low-maintenance. However, in order to comprehensively provide populated areas with district heating, it is necessary to quickly expand the existing supply network. That is what we are working on – preferably together with you.
With kind regards
Your BRUGG Pipes-Team

Review: BRUGG Pipes took part in the Euroheat & Power Congress in Turin |
|
We participated in the International Euroheat & Power Congress from 22 to 24 May in Turin, Italy. The central theme of the event was “District Energy: The local solution for global challenges”. To make significant global progress in the energy and climate crisis, this approach relies on comprehensively available but locally managed district heating grids. We took this occasion to present our broad product portfolio of efficient pipe systems for local and district heating as well as our systems for various cryogenic applications. It was a great trade fair experience that allowed us to speak with many interested people, partners and customers at our booth. The conclusion we drew from the experience is that the boom in the industry is real.

Zurich uses district heating to heat listed residential properties |
|
As a project partner, we recently completed a challenging task in the very heart of Zurich, in which seven buildings listed on the historic register were connected to the district heating grid. The work was also done in such a way that the gardens of the buildings could be spared and remain as intact as possible.
Read here to find out how we mastered this challenge and why we used our flexible CASAFLEX pipe system in the project.

For cryogenic media: FLEXWELL® Cryo Pipe |
|
The FLEXWELL® Cryo Pipe is our flexible, double-walled pipe solution for above-ground and underground transport of cryogenic liquefied gases. The special super insulation made of highly reflective foil, together with the spacers in the vacuum chamber that are adapted to the dimensions, ensure highly efficient and safe transport with very low heat input over the entire length of the pipeline. The vacuum-insulated pipe system can be quickly and easily installed due to its ready-made delivery condition – for the shortest possible installation time.
Learn more about the pipe system and the advantages of its design, which features pressure stability, reduced linear expansion and ease of installation. You can also read about the cryogenic applications in which the FLEXWELL® Cryo Pipe can be used.
